10 Things to Think about your Business pt.2
Success in business blogging is not as easy as most who create a blog will attest. One has to constantly think about how to improve their business in order to achieve any type of success in their Internet business. It was interesting thinking about the 10 things in my business blogs and had to think of more .
Most of the things to be discussed will center around the individual and they include.
5. How did I better myself today?
It is not enough to just post on your business blog everyday or comment on 5 blogs every day. The one thing you do not want to do is discover one day that their is new technology out there that is about to revolutionize your Internet business and you had no idea how it happened.
Learning skills that you are currently hiring others to do like web design, PHP, better writing etc will not only make you more confident but also better able to market yourself . I have started to learn basic html. The reason being that I am tired of hiring guys who I can not seem to be able to communicate my needs .Learning html and simple PHP should also save me time in fixing simple web site issues.
I try and keep an up to date journal of the new tips and tricks I am learning daily and it is surprising to find that after 30 days of doing this, I am actually much wiser than December 2007.
6. Is My Business Attitude Better Today?
It is obvious that when I was blogging myself to poverty, my business attitude was terrible to say the least. A poor attitude will lead to poor returns in any business. I now just enjoy the idea of blogging here when I can and commenting on sites that I actually enjoy reading.
If one concentrates in creating a business blog in a topic that actually interests him, then it can be fun to say the least. Improving your business attitude is key to the way to success.
7. Are My Clients Happy Today?
We all know that salesman who just had to make an effort to annoy you . You never forget him and you keep away from the shop forever. It is the same with any Internet business.
If I needed 5 articles written for one of my sites and all I got from you were cheap unreadable articles, I would never come back.
Since I am not selling anything here, I am left with writing good content that would make you the reader ( client) coming back for more. Yes I do think about you and try and find ways to make you happy. If you are happy, I will be very happy too.
8. Did I get a New RSS subscriber today?
It is important to be able to increase the reader base in your business blog.It is part of my million dollar blogging goal. Getting a new subscriber especially from referrals from other sites is critical to the success of this blog.
The best way to get referrals to this site is to get quoted on other web sites. It is like buying a car. Though there are over 100 car dealers outside your door, you will most likely buy from the dealer who was referred to you by your friend. Trying to find the best way to be referred to by others is essential and a daily challenge for me.
9. Did I Refer Anyone to a Great Article Today?
You just can’t be the one expecting to get referrals. You should also be in the business of finding good articles or web sites and referring your readers to them.You actually make good friends like that or even enemies.
To show that I practice what I preach why don’t you read more about the power of endorsements especially to your rss subscriber count. I learnt something about traffic spikes in relation to rss subscribers. You may also learn about the 9 steps to increase your blog subscribers. I am still on step 1.
With that I have just referred someone today and as soon as this article is finished, I will stumble and dig them. Now I feel good about myself.
