Making Money Writing
If you have a blog, it’s safe to say you like to write. You may have a lot of people who visit your blog because they like to read your perspective on things, learn about things that your blog is focused on or even just enjoy your sense of humor. Your readership may be growing and your writing skills may be improving. You may have even wondered if there was any way you could make some money writing.
If you enjoy writing, a great way to make money at it is to join a site like Associated Content . At Associated Content you can sign up to be what is called a Content Producer for free.
Once you become a Content Producer you can submit articles on just about any subject. Now, here’s where the money comes in. If your article is approved, Associated Content will offer to pay you for it. This is usually just a few dollars, but if you enjoy writing and submit often, this can add up quite quickly.
You can submit content that you have previously published on your blog by submitting it to Associated Content as non-exclusive. They also require that wherever it is published you include a byline that matches your real name or your username on your Associated Content account.
Having your blog posts connected to your Associated Content page will also bring in additional money through Associated Content’s Performance Payments program. For every 1000 views to your Associated Content article, you get a little bit of money. Currently, the amount is one dollar and fifty cents per 1000 views. This doesn’t seem like much money at first, but considering that each article you have on Associated Content can generate views, if you submit articles on a regular basis, it can really add up.
The articles you write also remain on Associated Content. This means that if you write an article on buying back-to-school supplies in September, for example, the following year when people begin to look for that information the article that you wrote a year ago will start getting views again, adding into your performance payments.
Associated Content also has a great message board that allows you to connect with other content producers and see what other types of writing opportunities are available on the internet. Many people have been able to earn a nice little side income by writing about whatever interests them on sites such as Associated Content.
Associated Content also accepts video, audio, and slideshow content, which can be a great showcase for artists, musicians and photographers. It’s also a way to get paid for these types of content that you would normally just have on your blog or maybe submit to a site such as YouTube or Yahoo Video.
Sometimes, just being open to thinking outside the box when it comes to how to use your blog to create income can bring in a whole new level of options that you may never have known were out there.

It’s actually a very good site to learn how to write. I don’t even bother posting much but ask questions and read a lot from the article writers on the forum and also from the written articles there.
Then they do make some money without falling foul of google.
