Getting Back to Online Goal Setting

I have now been blogging for 4 months and I have to say that the results have been dismal to say the least. One of the main reasons is the lack of time to post on my blog. However it occurred to me that no one really has the time to do anything. I have yet to find anyone I know who does not complain that they don’t have time to do this or that. So I have decided to take a different tack in my online success.

1. Manage my Time

This falls in the category of finding the time to do the things I know I should be doing. The logic is simple. Somehow I never get to do anything I had said I would do tomorrow. I always end up to postponing it to the next tomorrow and during this time I am getting older and not doing anything at all. So the first thing I am doing is making a calendar of the things that I need to do during the month, then during the week and next during the day. I will inform you of how far this has worked.

2. Have set Online Goals

Without goals I end up doing nothing. One of the things I realized that I would start working on one of my sites and then get distracted and go visit another web page before long, I have spent 3 hours on the internet doing nothing but stumbling and surfing other people’s content while mine is not updated. So the goals for my online sucess are now very simple.

1. Add 1 article a day to my sites.
2. Make at least 1 comment for each of my sites everyday in other related websites.
3. Make a minimum of $50 per day from my online business by December 30th 2008

The above are my 60 days business goals. What I’ll be doing is post on this blog how I am doing each of these goals and have a journal on my way to success online.

3. Believe In Success

I know I will be an online success. Confucius said that "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." all I can add to that is that " a journey of a million dollars begins with 1 cent. " and " a journey of a million web pages on this site begins with the first article.
