Oh boy, another blog that is about to die after no posting for a month. This online project is coming along just fine. Yes it is possible to make a living online. I am now totally convinced that the best way to make a million online, is not to listen to the gurus but roll up your sleeves and just write articles that matter to you. No black hat techniques, no bans sites, just plain hard work. For a blog that only used to post 3 posts a month to move to a PR 3, without the usual so called guru techniques is evidence in itself.
What about the paid blogging issues. I think paid blogging is a misnomer, I suggest bloggers rename it to advertising to keep your kids from the streets.Everyone is looking for cheap advertising so why not use blogs. They are proving to be more effective for advertising than other modes of cheap advertising.

Earn as You Learn
I am not lost nor have I gotten rid of this blog,yet. I had to set up my other online businesses and you will forgive me if I post only once in a while and not with a set posting schedule.I think it’s now obvious that I am not a very good blogger but I do not aim to make a living online by blogging. I too have a dream of coming up with the newest facebook and be bought by Google. I am sure Google will not be buying a blog soon.
I have an idea I wish to implement and have now found my self in the situation where I need to build a business plan, find financing ,promote it and market it. I believe you can learn a lot from good bloggers. However, I am finding it rather interesting that bloggers keep on insisting that only bloggers can make money online. I believe it is a tool and not an end all product. Only insisting on blogging is really losing the whole idea on making a living online.

The new blogger has a problem thinking of his blog, web site, forum, community etc as a real business. I am an advocate of starting to do something even before you do a business plan. Everyone wants to start their own business but only a handful ever start. A business plan before you get your feet wet can actually be a lazy man’s option of never starting a business. The best Venture Capitalists actually never want to see a business plan before they finance you. They would rather hear or read about your idea, then they will hire a professional to work out the business plan after you have started implementing your idea.
So even though you need a business plan, by all means let it come after you have started something. An example is a friend of mine who wished to start making Joomla templates to sell. He had great ideas for the templates and I actually used a few of them.However, when he decided to start writing a business plan ,he went for 2 months without producing a single Joomla template. Suffice it to say he had to convince me to continue using his services. So do not take too long coming up with your own business plan then forget to do your online business.
